How can I add additional content to the course category page?

    Hello
    We would like to add additional content to the course category pages, such as news. We want to publish news and display them on certain tags along with courses on the course category pages. How this could be done? Is there any way to edit the course categories in the Pages section

    Unfortunately, there is no such option in the theme by default, it needs to customize the core templates of the theme in order to realize your request.

    We have found a solution to do this, at least we thought so until yesterday))

    Is Advanced Custom Fields plugin

    But we still ran into the problems

    With Advanced Custom Fields we create the field wisiwyg editor at every taxonomy course category

    At file wp-content/plugins/masterstudy-lms-learning-management-system/stm-lms-templates/courses_taxonomy/archive.php we added this code <?php the_field('coursenewsbytags'); ?> and it works, but only in empty course categories for example and in categories that have courses it not displayed.

    Maybe you know how to resolve this problem?
