• We already had PayPay account connection just fine on our site and now this plugin requires us to connect all over again — but we can’t. There are all sorts of new screens with requirements and our PayPal account needs to be updated, ownership established, new ID uploaded.

    We’re creating an account with Stripe.

    Run away from this “update”.

    Hi @sandyfischler,

    Thanks for sharing your experience. Advanced credit and debit card payments are only available after a vetting process at PayPal which is prompted automatically when you connect your PayPal account from a supported region, but it is optional and can be skipped.
    Due to the feedback we received, we are revamping the plugin settings to provide easier access to different onboarding conditions to make the setup easier if you are not interested in providing the latest credit card functionality.
