The css keeps crashing when there is an update from jetpack, I had auto-updates enabled but it didn’t update right away.

I was able to see the site normally, since I’m on it all the time I think my browser has the css file cached, but I often get complains from my coworkers that the css crashed when they go on the website. I would see css not linked when I look at the site with incognito mode as well.

It has been happening more often lately, is there a solution to this?

    Hello, there.

Can you tell us where this CSS is stored and what exactly it does?

Also, what do you have to do to fix it?

If you have any example errors that other people have mentioned when they catch these problems on your site, that would be excellent too, for clues. Thanks!

Thanks for your reply, I’m maintaining a legacy code. The css are stored in either style.css or custom.css.

None of the CSS would load whenever jetpack comes out with an update. It would pretty much look like plain HTML, no format or styles. I do not have a screenshot of it now, I’ll take one when it happens again.

It’s usually fixed by installing the whatever update jetpack releases, and before I could get to updating it.

I just can’t understand how it could cause the css files to crash due to a plugin update

    Hi there

I can only suspect some kind of conflict with your theme’s CSS file, but it’s hard to say what might cause it without seeing it in action. If it happens again, could you contact us via this contact form so that we can take a look? Please include a link to this thread when submitting that form.

    Thanks!
