Enable text compression in your web server configuration

@nishagarg You can enable GZIP compression from WP-Optimize > Cache > GZIP compression.

Gzip compression is effective because CSS files and HTML files use a lot of repeated text and have plenty of whitespace. Since Gzip compresses common strings, this can reduce the size of pages and style sheets by up to 90%.

@bornforphp Thank you for your response. However, Gzip compression is already enabled from the WP-Optimize plugin. Anything else I can do about it?

@nishagarg Have you performed a conflict test yet?

Try deactivating all plugins except for WP-Optimize and see if it is resolved.

If so, reactivate each plugin one at a time until you find the culprit. You can check for the issue between activating each plugin, so you can see which one is causing problems.

@nishagarg I think its coming from a third party plugin, could you please try to deactivate the plugin which deals with aax-us-east.amazon-adsystem.com

@bornforphp doesn’t seem to help either. Maybe I should change the theme and see if it improves the score. Thank you.
