videos not found in media library…

I’ve uploaded a few videos through ftp and while they’re in the wp-content/uploads folder of public_html, I can’t see them in the wp media library.

Strange thing is, I had a video up there and deleted it, now I can’t seem to add new videos.

hosting company said contact wp.

any help is appreciated. thx.
