    hello!
    actually, I have a payment gateway installed into my woo commerce store but somehow few orders are getting cancelled even though the customer has me the payment and I have received the money into my merchant account. As far as I know, I have configured the plugin and also the woocommerce setting properly and correctly.

    Only a few of the orders showing this issue, otherwise the rest orders are fine and working well.

    the scene is, someone comes to my website, goes to checkout, choose the payment method, the payment provider takes the user to their website, the user makes the successful payment, I m receiving the payment in my merchant account successfully but, the problem is, the order remails as pending payment and the user is not getting the order confirmation email.

    Hi @ansum,

    Just to check, when you check the affected orders, which payment method was used.

    At times, this happens with the PayPal gateway due to IPN issues. In such cases, WooCommerce is normally unable to receive notifications from PayPal that an order has been paid for. Thus, it cancels the order when the Hold Stock timeout is reached even though the seller has already received a payment.

    Thus, if you’re using PayPal, kindly go through this IPN troubleshooting guide. If the issue is happening with a different payment gateway, kindly let us know so that we can advise further.

    Thank you for replying back. I m using esewa for woocommerce provided by official payment provider. The payment gateway is esewa and their website is esewa.com.np and the plugin is esewa for woocommer by esewa fone pay pvt ltd.

    And yes i have IPN enable for this payment gateway

    It could a communication issue between the Esewa payment gateway and WooCommerce. Esewa might be facing some challenges notifying WooCommerce that an order has been paid for. Thus, WooCommerce cancels the order after the HoldStock timeout is reached, even though you’ve received the payment.
