Comments on Images widget links to blank pages

Just wanted to add, i can also make the content disappear by simply pressing f5. So it is not necessarily connected to the Comments on Images widget.

What is your setting of Basic settings -> Links -> III Item 9: CommentWidget ??

Sorry for poking, but is there progress or a workaround available? ??

Version 8.0.03 contains this fix:

* Plugin All in One SEO tampers the internal wppa occurrance counters because it renders the page before the actual page building.
This results in certain links not working like the link from an image in a widget to a landing page, because the landing shortcode is no longer the first occurrance.
Provided a fix for this by resetting the counters at the end of the the process that builds the page header.

So, if you have All in One SEO it will be fixed in that rev.

Thanks Jacob, but i have YoastSEO installed. And turning it off did not help. Version 8.0.03.006 is already installed. Clearing the cache did not help. Clearing the image cache of WP Photo Album Plus neither, i hadn’t it activated up to yesterday anyways. I have also meanwhile deactivated WP Super Cache and pressed ctrl+f5 to empty really everything to see if this helps. But no avail. And the only other cache that i have, the one from Autoptimize, was installed yesterday to optimize the server lag. So it cannot have to do with it.

So could you please have a second look at it? And in case there is something i can do to help with solving this issue, i am here ??

What makes me wonder is why the image shows when you come from the gallery, but when you press F5 it simply vanishes.

There is s js error that prevents the imnage to reload.

Please do the following to get the uncompressed js file to be used, so i can better see what goes wrong:

– Update to the current version 8.0.05.004
– If the problem still exists: Use an ftp program to delete the following files:

…/wp-content/plugins/wp-photo-album-plus/js/wppa-all.js
…/wp-content/plugins/wp-photo-album-plus/js/wppa.min.js
…/wp-content/plugins/wp-photo-album-plus/js/wppa-slideshow.min.js
…/wp-content/plugins/wp-photo-album-plus/js/wppa-utils.min.js

– switch all caches and optimizers off
– tell me you did, so i can see, and you can re-enable caches.

I have turned on script debug in wp-config.php . And get an error

Uncaught SyntaxError: missing ) after argument list pt131:886

This was a file in one of the wppa folders when i have seen it correct. I can just not follow it to the file anymore which is causing it. Chrome debugger does nothing anymore with a click at it :/

Debug is still on. So you should be able to see this error too.

Can i turn my caching on again please? ??

It’s a productive page, with quite a few visitors …

I have activated the caching again. As told, the page is in productive state. I cannot let it run without caching for long.

Please give me a sign when you find the time for this issue. Then i will turn off caching again.
