HTTPS menu links issues

    I’m encountering a strange issue.

    When BuddyX theme fails to load and it gracefully degrades to text-only links etc, all menu items URLs are made HTTPS, but when the theme loads, all menu items are HTTP.

    I prefer a default of HTTP. I’ve checked WP admin to ensure the site URL is HTTP, but it seems like a theme fault is overriding it intermittently.

    Is this a known issue?

    Also, what causes the theme to sometimes load and sometimes not?

    @mungbean theme not using any manual or coding based HTTP or HTTPS protocol for menus directly, all functions for menus are standard WP and BP functions
    you can debug the same via switching the theme to default 2021
    as a solution, make sure General >> setting
    site URL and home URL both should be on HTTPS
    or use really simple ssl plugin
