[Plugin: WordPress Download Monitor] Error 330 (net::ERR_CONTENT_DECODING_FAILED): Unknown error.

  • After working just fine for weeks, suddenly I can’t get ANY of the downloads to work. I went through permissions, I checked the database to make sure all the paths were correct, and I’m not able to fix this problem. I’ve tried every user-level, browser-type and operating system, and always the same error.

    I’ve confirmed that you can download the file when you go directly to the files path on the server, but not through the download monitor.

    The actual error:

    Error 330 (net::ERR_CONTENT_DECODING_FAILED): Unknown error.
