need advice on my next project

I’m in the scratch boards for a new site, which is going to be a fashion site. the main objective would be to post albums of new fashion designs and then build a community arround it to comment and post stuff etc. (the group already has a community, and it just needs to be moved in)

so my list includes

registrations of new members and allowing them to comment
posting of fashion design picture albums, videos etc..

(the reason for considering word press for this project is the user friendly back panel, as i don’t want my client to be lost with all the settings etc.)

any feedback would be really helpfull
