Add Email Opt In To Express Checkout Page

    Hi, I have been using this plugin for some time now and it works great, thank you!

    That said, I am really focused on trying to grow my email list, and that works fine on the standard checkout page (even when using this plugin for checkout) but if someone uses the express checkout option from a product page or cart, it takes them to a different checkout page and does not allow them to opt in to email marketing.

    Does anyone know how to add this function to the express checkout page?

    Does anyone know how to add this function to the express checkout page?

    The modal window (the checkout pop-up) is actually hosted on Paypal servers and it is not editable.

    Another option maybe is to disable the checkout buttons on cart and product pages?
    It looks like a silly suggestion but by this everyone will make it to the normal checkout page and by then they’ll opt-in to your mailing list.

    I tried that before but conversion rates tanked (which shows just how important this is!)

    I understand that the pop up is hosted on PayPal, but it then redirects to a checkout page like the one shown in the second screenshot which pulls through the email address and order details, so I assumed it would be possible?

    With the express checkout, although the form redirects back to the checkout page, you will either have to have an opt-in option added to the checkout process before redirecting to the express checkout form, or you have to customize the plugin, thus customizing the form.
