    Hi Rick

I think your plugin is fantastic.

I have proxy and VPN blocked which is stopping a lot of potential hackers but I’ve noticed some legitimate potential customers using VPN are also being blocked.

Could I use a custom rule to only block VPN with a threat score higher than say 10 so that only potentially dangerous visitors get blocked.

I looked at your rule library and have noticed “Add Hosting type to the API Output”
Would this rule achieve exactly what I am looking for?

If not could you please give me the rule details I would need.

    Thanks for your help.

    Best regards

    John

    Hi John,

    Thank you,

In the Proxy & VPN Blocker Plugin settings in WordPress you are able to enable Risk Score Checking under the Risk Score tab, you can adjust the scores individually for Proxies and VPN’s, the defaults of 33 for Proxies and 66 for VPN’s should be fine, however you can adjust this as you desire.

The rule library is a proxycheck.io API feature, with the tools provided by the Proxy & VPN Blocker Plugin it shouldn’t be necessary to add Custom Rules on proxycheck.io.
