Third party code – after switching to cdn

    Hello, I recently added key CDN and am now getting this message on google page speed.
    Third-party code blocked the main thread for 560 ms

    Before the CDN it was not showing. Is there some other setting I need to enable on the plugin to fix this or on the cdn side?

    That’s your the time it takes the browser to execute your site’s optimized JavaScript Keith, the only real solution to improve on that is trying to use less JS (from theme/ pagebuilder/ plugins) I’m afraid.

    ok great, thanks, was interesting it shows up on the cdn but not when its hosted.. I guess its a trade off on TTFB.

    Well, technically a CDN won’t help with with TTFB either, as the HTML (the first request by a browser) is not served from the origin server anyway. The CDN is used for the subsequent requests after that (typically CSS/ JS/ images).
