Twenty Seventeen and WooCommerce Products

  • Hello! Hoping I’m overlooking something simple.

    I have a small WooCommerce store set up within my basic WP twenty seventeen theme. The intent is to have everything visible through a down scroll on the home page, as the theme was designed. I have the various sections within the theme set to the correct pages in the customization settings, including “current inventory”, which is the designated WooCommerce product listing/shop page.

    There are three products listed in our inventory. when navigating directly to the inventory page (https://westcoast.equipment/inventory/), you can see each listing as intended. However, the products do NOT show up on the first level page, when simply scrolling down. I am expecting the same content to carry over into the first level, scrollable page.

    As a test, I inserted the phrase “Content Transfer Test” in plain text on the page itself, which can be correctly seen in both places.

    Would hugely appreciate some assistance with this. Thanks very much in advance!

    I didn’t quite get what you mean by this. Do you want to show the product short description for each product on listing page here – https://westcoast.equipment/inventory/

    Hi Samuel – apologies, that’s a difficult one to communicate effectively.

    However, yes – I’m expecting to see the inventory listings simply by loading up the home page and scrolling down. The heading for the page and my little test phrase ARE visible as I would expect, just by loading the main page and scrolling down, but the listings are not.
