Hello, hope life is doing alright for you in those times !

I was tasked to make a library using WordPress for my work, and WebLibrarian is the most promising plugin I have found so far for that purpose.

I am experiencing some bugs where the checkout and holding on items are not working.

I did select an user and book ID, getting to where I could use the checkout button. But when I click on said button, I get this error

Same goes for the hold button, here is another screenshot for documentation.

On the topic of the request button, I have read some of the other tickets that had been answered but in my case I don’t even get an error message (or don’t know where to look)

My PHP version is 5.8 and I’m using the current latest version of WordPress. My theme is Astra (even tho I doubt the theme might be related in this specific problem) and I’m also using the page builder Elementor.

I am uncertain where the problem might be coming from, and was wondering if there is a way I could resolve it ?

    Thanks for your time!
(And sorry if there are any misspellings, English is not my mother tongue.)

For the checkout, you need to *lookup* the patron, before you can check something out. You notice that the space next to Find Patron is blank… Dito for the hold function.

    Hi !

Sorry for the time it took me to try it out again, I had school days right after my opening of the ticket.

I did try looking up the patron after and even before selecting the barcode.
And the error of Error checking out! Result code is 0 hasn’t changed.

Is there maybe something I did wrong in setting up the patron ?

I can’t replicate your error. I don’t know what is going wrong.

You do have items in your collection? And the barcode you have there is valid?

I do have items in my collection, the barcode is one directly selected from a test book in order to try out the plugin.

I can try reinstalling it altogether maybe ? will wright right back to you if this work. If it doesn’t as well.

Hi tis been a while, I have found the cause of my problem.

It was the tool I was using to develop the website localy, that is, Local by flywheel.

I have moved onto Wamp and now it works well. Thanks again and sorry for the long time between updates !
