I want to edit the generic new user notification to user email that sends out:
    username: (email)
and 2 links… one to set the password, and one to the login page.

I saw a post in the ‘fixing wordpress’ section, where it was recommended that the easiest way to change the email sent on new user registration is to use a plugin. As I use Mailchimp, I have selected MC4WP.

How do I access this generic email template with this plugin so I can edit it? Or do I need to set up another template with Mailchimp, and if so, do I just include the same 2 links for setting the password and for the login page? And if so, how do I stop the generic wordpress email from sending?

    Thank you

    Hey @aiyana22,

Thanks for reaching out to us.

Our plugin does not send these notifications. For now, the features we provide are only related to e-commerce (in our premium version) which sends the users any automation emails set in MailChimp.com.

I would recommend contacting MailChimp.com to see if they have any recommendations to use their platform to send all transactional emails such as account creation, etc.

Ok, thanks Harish for clarifying this.
