Get announcement to reappear for users after they close it?

    Hi,

    I’m trying to make sure this plugin will work for what we need. The cookie bar is good to go away after they accept, but I need the announcement bar to reappear at minimum when the announcement is changed.

    I cannot get the bar to show up again after dismissing it…I tried clearing my cache and the website cache and cleared cookies. No matter what I do the announcement won’t come back. This is a problem if we change the announcement and visitors don’t see it because they dismissed the old announcement.

    hi @seanrowe

    It uses local cache instead of cookies, and it checks based on the ID of the bar.
    This means it does not change, even after the message is changed.

    So this is not possible at the moment, but I like the idea so we will discuss internally to see if this is something we want to add as a feature
