I decided to try out Tutor LMS with Oxygen Builder and the Oxygen Tutor LMS plugin to integrate the two.

Then, I tried doing the template override via a blank child theme of the TutorStarter theme. I’ve followed the documentation closely, double checked everything, but my simple override, which is to chnge the “Go to Course Home” text on top of lesson pages to “Home” inside /single/lesson/content.php, does not seem to be working. Is this due to usage with Oxygen and/or the TutorLMS-Oxygen integration plugin?

FYI, the lesson page is built with an Oxygen template utilizing the Tutor LMS “Single Lesson” module inside Oxygen builder. I’m on WP 5.7.2 and latest Tutor LMS (1.9.6) and latest Oxygen (3.8.1).

    Thank you.

  • Hello @qriouslad

This “Go to Course Home” text is coming from wp-content/plugins/tutor/templates/single/lesson/content.php at line 34 and you can see that there is no hook.

So, you need to change the text from the core but note that you will lose the changes on update.

    Kind Regares.

@creativeartbd Thanks. I did end up changing the core file and tracing it in local git repo, which hopefully will help me restore the changes upon core plugin update. Thank you!
