Disappearing S3 secret key

    I’ve been using BackWPup for many years, for multiple websites, using multiple hosts. I usually back up to AWS S3 storage.

    Every once in a while, the backups stop working. When I look at the job setting, I see that the access key is still there but the secret key is missing. After adding the key again, everything works as it should.

    Do you have any idea of what could cause the key to disappear?

    Thank you for reporting, please help us make sure that these following php extensions has been installed on your system:
    – OpenSSL
    – Mcrypt
