Pass postID created in step 1 to step 2 of multi-step form

I’m trying to create a form with two steps.

First step a user creates a company (Custom Post type)

Then in the second step the user then creates a user account that has the company’s PostID associated with it.

Basically I need to pass the Post ID into the second form.

How would I go about doing something like this? Even two separate forms would be sufficient it doesn’t have to be a multi step form but it would be preferable.
