Incorrect Stripe Gateway Redirect breaks the SCA 3D Secure payment flow

    Hello,

    Since a few days, the plugin does not work anymore when CREDIT CARD requires Strong Customer Auth (3D Secure).

    When on the /checkout/page, after entering Credit Crd number, normal behavior is supposed to open an iframe in Overlay for 3D Secure validation.

    The problem is that this iframe does NOT open. Instead I see a weird redirect of the page that breaks the flow:
    …./checkout/confirm-pi-pi_3JMpuVILGlsnlKBP12egGNMJ_secret_zOAmTq15XmEAk60dIHCSTTZ35:/?wc-ajax=wc_stripe_verify_intent&order=49520&nonce=587cd1eb4c&redirect_to=……

    I made a 1 min video of the problem so that you can see it in action (please log in to view the video). You will see for yourself.

    Wordpress v 5.7.2
    Stripe Payment Gateway (tested several version from 4.7.0 to the latest).

    I see NO javascript errors on the console log.

    Someone has an idea of what could be the issue here ?

    I understand that you are seeing an issue with Stripe payment gateway’s 3D secure input popup not appearing. We would like to take a closer look, the gateway’s logs in particular. Could you enable that if you haven’t so far, try placing an order on the checkout page once again and share the logs from your store?

    Since logs contain crucial information that mustn’t be public, please reach out to us by email [email protected] and share this forum link as well, so that we can keep things tied together.

    You can obtain the logs from WooCommerce > Status > Logs and paste it on the email. You may need to use the dropdown on the top right of the logs page, to obtain the particular logs that we are requesting for.
