    Hi there!

I just updated one of my sites (WordPress, plugins, theme) on which your plugin is running and unfortunately it now crashes the whole site. The only thing I see is a white screen. After deactivating your plugin everything is back to normal, but the site is more or less useless without your plugin. So that’s no option for me. Do you know what might be causing this problem? Here is a list of all my plugins on this site ( https://i.ibb.co/9t1CN3b/plugins.png ), the current PHP version is 7.4.

    Thanks!
    Joe

Could you check your server error logs and see if you find a relevant error message?

Also check section 4 here: https://conditional-fields-cf7.bdwm.be/docs/troubleshooting/does-not-work-with-a-third-party-theme-or-plugin/

    Hey Jules,

thanks for your quick response. I have talked to my host and they told me they don’t provide the option for server error logs. Can you have a look at the page directly? Would that help? I have made a clone with duplicator, so I can give you admin-access without any problem.

    Greetings
    Joe

I just noticed that in the list of plugins you shared, there is no mention of Conditional Fields for Contact Form 7.. Are you sure you are in the right support forum?

Yes, I am. As I said, I have to deactivate your plugin in order to make the website work. That’s why it wasn’t in the list I sent you.

I haven’t been able to reproduce this notice.. Do you think you can set up a fresh WP installation on your server and see if you are able to reproduce the error there?

I think I found the cause of the problem. It’s the plugin “Autoptimize”. After deactivating the “Try-Catch-Block” within the plugin, everything seems to work fine now. Thanks for your effort!

Cool, I believe there is a setting in Autoptimize that allows you to ignore certain plugins, you could check the support forum there. The author is very responsive.
