    Hi guys,

In woocommerce checkout page, I wanted to change the error English text when required fields are left empty like “Billing first name is a required field.” etc.

Upon searching the web, I found a plugin called “Say What?”, so I followed instructions to change the word “Billing” to “Whatever” as a test. It worked, but when I wanted to change the word “Whatever” again I couldn’t, so “Whatever” is now a default and the text line now says “Whatever first name is a required field.”.

Thinking this is an issue with “Say What?” plugin, I deleted the order line for that change, it didn’t work, I deactivated the plugin, deleted, reinstalled it, all the same, “Whatever” is stuck.

But when I deactivated TranslatePress, the error message went back to normal “Billing first name is a required field.” !! So the issue is confirmed to be caused by TranslatePress.

I don’t want to disable or delete TranslatePress, how to reverse this back to normal?

Hope you guys have a solution other than a fresh install of the plugin

Please guys help me out in this, there must be some sort of cache purge or a way to make TranslatePress forget the text string change introduced by “Say What?” plugin!

    Hello,

Apologies for getting in touch with you with such delay!

In case any help is still needed regarding this issue, you could look into the wp_trp_dictionary* tables from your database and delete the “Whatever” entry.

Let me know if this resolves the issue.

    Best regards,
