    Dear Team,

This is really an amazing plugin. The only issue I am having is unable to upload csv file under “My Project/APP” section. It says only sql format is supported.

I kindly request you to add csv import support for individual table on each new Data Projects.

    Thanks & Reagrds,
    Manivannan M

    Hi @manivannan-m,

Excel import is currently only available for admin users. A feature request for non admin users and Excel updates is scheduled. I hope to add these features before the end of the year. Please be aware that this will be a premium feature. I will leave this issue open and let you know when it is available.

    Thank you for your contribution,
    Peter

    Hi Peter,

    Thanks for the response.

I am admin user of the site, but still I am not able to upload.

    It shows below message:

Supports only file type sql. Maximum supported file size is 1024M.

    Hi @manivannan-m,

You’re right! I should have mentioned it is only available for admin users from the Data Explorer. ?? It is not available from Data Projects.

    Sorry,
    Peter

    Hi Peter,

Thanks for the response. Will wait for that feature.

I have another request, I want to Export full table under Data Projects.

Right now I am able to export only first 10 data from the table.

    Regards,

    Hi Manivannan,

Your requirement makes sense. Unfortunately, full table exports are only available from the Data Explorer at this time. I added your feature request to me to do list with low priority. Let me see what I can do.

    Thanks again for your controbution,
    Peter

    Hi Peter,

Thanks again for the response, Is that possible in Pro version?

    Hi Manivannan,

    >>> Thanks again for the response, Is that possible in Pro version?

Full table exports are not avilable for projects in the Premium version as well. Sorry! A user can change the number of rows to show all the rows on a page and use the normal the export feature, but that will not work with very large tables.

Alternatively, you can use the Data Publisher to publish a table and add your own export button. This is documented here:
    https://wpdataaccess.com/docs/documentation/data-publisher/custom-buttons/
Publication data however, is read only.

    >>> And need one more feature, filters under Data Projects. Filters use to search for specific data in the table!

This is available is the premium version. It is documented here:
    https://wpdataaccess.com/docs/documentation/data-explorer/search-settings/#individual-column-search

    Hope this helps,
    Peter

    Hi Peter,

I have purchased Premium version and I have projects created using Free version.

How to upgrade to premium version without loosing data.

    Thanks.

    (@peterschulznl)

    Hi Manivannan,

Your projects will not be changed when you update to premium. If you want to be completely sure not to lose any data:
    > Go to Settings > WP Data Access
    > Manage Repository
    > Click button “Download actual repository tables”
Save your download somewhere so you can import your repository if you lose your data.

    Additional:
    > Go to Settings > WP Data Access
    > Uninstall
    > Disable these checkboxes to keep your data even when you completely uninstall:
Delete plugin tables (all data will be lost)
Delete plugin settings (all settings will be lost)

Thank you for upgrading to premium! ??

    Best regards,
    Peter

    Hi Peter,

Is that possible to connect Google Spreadsheet with database tables created with WP Data Access.

That is, whenever Google Spreadsheet is updated with new record it should sync with WP Data Access and update/Add records to WordPress database table.

    Thanks.

    Hi Manivannan,

The plugin cannot read Google Spreadsheets. Sorry! But you can download a sheet as CSV and upload the CSV file. Currently there is no support for batch updates, but it is planned as part of the version 5 update, which comes in three phases. The third and final phase will have support for batch updates.

    Best regards,
    Peter
