    Hello,
?I’m new to WordPress blogging and I got a bit puzzled with trying to upload pictures/photos to posts and pages.
?I want to insert a photo into the post or the page, but I do not want the post to display the photos as well as the attachment.

When I add a new post, everything seems fine (usually, because at one time it even inserted the “attachment” into the post itself). But when I continue to the post via the link, the post displays the text, the photo and and text “the attachments to this post:” attaching small thumbnails of the photos again, even making them “clickable”.
?Now, I don’t want that and I would like for help how to get rid of this setting. When I set up a page and insert photos, it will always add the “the attachments to this post:” part… Quite ennoying. ??
I am using the little button over the text box to insert new picuters. Then I click on “link to URL”, a setting I need for the plugin I am using (eg. Lightbox).

?If you’d like to see what I mean go to my blog https://www.jessenphotography.com/blog.?But please don’t be too hard on me – my blog is still under construction and so far, I only posted “test-content”…

Thank you ever so much for your help!

  • That’s a theme issue. I think you need to edit your theme’s single.php template file.

Thanks a lot for your help!
I looked at the file cutting out the part that I hope is the right one. Indeed, the attachments are not there any longer. Hope, that the rest will keep working properly… ??

Again, thank you for your comment! It really saved the day. ??
