Insert photos or images into post/pages without “attached” file
-
Hello,
?I’m new to WordPress blogging and I got a bit puzzled with trying to upload pictures/photos to posts and pages.
?I want to insert a photo into the post or the page, but I do not want the post to display the photos as well as the attachment. When I add a new post, everything seems fine (usually, because at one time it even inserted the “attachment” into the post itself). But when I continue to the post via the link, the post displays the text, the photo and and text “the attachments to this post:” attaching small thumbnails of the photos again, even making them “clickable”.
?Now, I don’t want that and I would like for help how to get rid of this setting. When I set up a page and insert photos, it will always add the “the attachments to this post:” part… Quite ennoying. ??
I am using the little button over the text box to insert new picuters. Then I click on “link to URL”, a setting I need for the plugin I am using (eg. Lightbox).?If you’d like to see what I mean go to my blog https://www.jessenphotography.com/blog.?But please don’t be too hard on me – my blog is still under construction and so far, I only posted “test-content”…
Thank you ever so much for your help!
