    Hello,

I have followed all the steps suggested here and on yoast.com to try to fix a problem with the sitemap for this site in production. You will have to modify the hosts file to be able to view it which I appreciate in advance.

The problem is that the sitemap is generated but both the site and product URLs are completely blank. I can see the rest without problem.

I have made the suggestions and I have been able to see the source code of the page and I can see all the data of the sitemap but I still cannot see it in a normal way.

I have used the Health Check & Troubleshooting plugin and the problem is not associated with the theme or with the rest of the installed plugins.

There is also the main-sitemap.xsl file in the corresponding folder.

So I don't understand what else could be causing the problem.

Thank you very much in advance for the help.

@kachicamo We’re sorry to hear you are experiencing this issue and understand that you are receiving a blank page for the sitemap, but are still able to view the source code of the page.

Typically this issue can be cause by that the source code for the sitemap is empty. This typically means your site has a static file on the server or there’s a conflict with a plugin or theme. Please remove any static sitemap files as Yoast SEO does not create a physical file on your server.
    ?
If you do not find any static sitemap files, this may be a plugin or theme conflict. Please disable all plugins except Yoast SEO, and use one of the default (Twenty*) themes. If the problem goes away, enable plugins one by one to identify the source of your troubles.

We also have more information on this topic in the following article: https://yoast.com/help/my-sitemap-is-blank-what-s-wrong/

    Thanks @devihil,

Indeed, there is no static file for the sitemap.

So I would just have to start searching for a plugin conflict.

But I have realized something very curious and that is that I can see the sitemap perfectly in Firefox but not in Chrome.

Would this indicate something in particular? Could the sitemap be seen in Firefox even if there is a conflict with another plugin?

I will await your response to this new track.

    Thankful again.

    Hi @kachicamo

Could you provide us with the URL of the exact website that is showing a blank sitemap so we can try and check this further?

The URL you’ve provided in your initial thread is showing as ‘page cannot be reached’ so we just want to make sure we have the correct URL.

    Hi @ mikes41720

The page with the problem is a redesign that is currently in development and is hosted on another server. For this reason I have provided the IP address 217.76.130.125 followed by the domain to which it should point (claritashop.com) and to which the DNS will finally be migrated.

If you try to enter the domain claritashop.com directly, you will find the current (old) website and not the one with the problem.

So in order to see it they will have to edit the hosts file.

    Thanks

    Hi,

Unfortunately, without being able to view where the blank sitemap is occurring, it’s very hard to help further. We recommend trying all of the recommended steps in this article since it appears to be a blank sitemap (where it’s totally blank but the source code and all of the data is loading) – https://yoast.com/help/my-sitemap-is-blank-what-s-wrong/

We also recommend performing a conflict check just to ensure there isn’t a conflict with another plugin or theme.

For some reason, unknown to me, all of a sudden I can already see the sitemap correctly.

    Blank pages no longer appear.

Also grateful for the time and guidance of all forum participants.`
