    Hi,

    Since the update of WordPress to 5.8 I get below mentioned issue in the Appearence / Widget section.

    Notice: wp_enqueue_script() was called incorrectly. “wp-editor” script should not be enqueued together with the new widgets editor (wp-edit-widgets or wp-customize-widgets). Please see Debugging in WordPress for more information. (This message was added in version 5.8.0.) in /home/…./public_html/…../wp-includes/functions.php on line 5535

    I am using Yoast SEO version 16.8 and did the disable clear cache to check if this plugin made the issue.

    What can I do to solve it?

    We’ll be closing this thread, so please do continue following those links mentioned above for updates.

    This is not fixed, though the issue was closed on Github.
