Changing password purely for staging site

    This may be an obvious question but I need to let a plugin editor into my staging site. Currently the log in credentials are the same for staging and live.

    If I change the password on staging site will this affect my live site?

    I would prefer to just change the password if possible rather than adding a new admin or disabling logging in to the staging site entirely

    Hi @georgiedavies
    If you changed the password for your user on the staging site this won’t affect your live site, unless you push the staging site to the live site.

    So feel free to change the password on your staging site, then if you wish you can revert it back after the plugin’s editor finishes his work on the site.
