I have 2 products in my product bundle
    A = 14
    B = 14
    They are private products

    Which have the setting:
Manual Stock Management: Open the single product settings >> Inventory tab, users will need to turn on the “Enable stock management at product level?” then in the Stock Quantity line, manually enter the number of stock available. Doing this will enable a notification like this “ X in stock” and in the Dashboard, users will also see a stock count in brackets next to the stock status.

    There bundled in X
I did: Product-level stock management: When the stock management option at product level in bundles (Inventory tab of Smart Bundle) is turned off/ unchecked, it will automatically copy the stock settings of bundled items

I see the stock being updated to 14
But when I check my product online, then I see sold out.

I also tried doing it the other way around, I tried making A & B not private. All products are published.

I don’t know which options I have anymore. I use:
    Elementor: 3.3.1
    Elementor PRO: 3.3.4
WPC Product Bundles voor WooCommerce: 5.7.7
    Woocommerce: 5.5.2

  • I have this same issue. I have just set up several bundles and all of them are showing as out of stock no matter which way I configure the settings.

    It’s really frustrating!

    Hi @popthebottles, @galph,

Pls kindly read our document and articles to understand more about how to configure the stock of product bundles

If the issue remains to happen, pls send us the page and product link with the detailed setting screenshots of product bundle’s stock management for checking and fixing ASAP.

    Regards,

Hi, I have the same problem. At this point I don’t think it’s a question of settings but of a plugin malfunction. Can you check, please?

Ciao, ho lo stesso problema. A questo punto non credo sia questione di impostazioni ma di un malfunzionamento del plugin. Potete verificare, per cortesia?

@miemie I did all the settings in the documentation, but it did not work. I created a lot of screenshots, but I don’t see an option to send it here. How do I send it to you?

    Hi @popthebottles,

You can attached the screenshots link via lightshot tool and remember to send us the public product link as well for us to check

    Ah thanks!
As I’m still developing the shop, I only published the page with the combined product and the 2 products in the bundle. The products in the bundle are prive, because it can only be purchased as a bundle (making them public did not solve the out of stock issue)

    Hi @popthebottles

Seem you didn’t fill the price for your simple products https://www.screencast.com/t/Vd8uTRcVhOB, so these products are unpurchasable and the bundle is unpurchasable too even it’s in stock.

    (@popthebottles)

    Hi @wpclever,

So a price for each item in the bundle is needed? Because we don’t sell the single items in the bundle as a single item. We use the bundle to tell our order picker that he has to pick both items for this bundle.
Is there a way only the bundle has a price so the customer does not think they can buy the items in the bundle as a single item?

    Thread Starter popthebottles

    (@popthebottles)

I added the price for each item.
When I have the bundled product on published and public
And the items in the bundle on published and private
Then I get an out of stock message.

The instock message only works if I have all the products on published and public, but I don’t want that, because I don’t want to sell the single items only the bundle.

Is this possible with your plugin?

According to woocommerce this should be an option:

Is there a way to make some products available only in bundles?

In many cases it is desirable to prevent customers from purchasing one or more bundled products individually. This is possible by changing the Visibility of these products to hide them from the catalog/search of your site. Hidden products will still show up in the Bundles that contain them.

    Plugin Author WPClever

    (@wpclever)

    Yes, you can do that!

You can hide individual products in your shop by using this option https://prnt.sc/ocirlu. These products still are available in bundles.

I am facing a very similar issue. If I set a page to private and link it as a smart bundle to another item, that item’s product page shows Out Of Stock message.

To all the developers of this plugin (@miemie @wpclever), please watch this short clip: https://www.awesomescreenshot.com/video/4930852?key=6907ea88195f6c5a5ac763a3feec6088

I believe it’s a bug in your plugin.

Thank you very much for taking the time to look into this issue!

    Hi @rebornhairppp,

By default, If one of the bundled items goes out of stock/ unpurchasable/ low in threshold/ set as private, then the whole bundle will go out of stock/ unpurchasable as well.

It’s required that all bundled products are set as Public, not Private or Hidden, so that our plugin can find and add them to the smart bundle. https://prnt.sc/152hofp

If you just want to sell some products in bundles, but not as individual products in my shop, there are two things you can do to prevent buyers from reaching those bundled items:

1/ Disable “Link to individual product” by choosing “No” for this option in WPClever >> Product Bundles. https://prnt.sc/152hrkr

2/ Hide them from your shop archive and search by adjusting their visibility to Hidden. https://prnt.sc/1342kyf

Then buyers won’t be able to click through the title of bundled products to visit individual product pages anymore and the bundles are still in stock

In other way, if you want to create the deal which customers can receive free items for buying the main products, you can try another plugin WPC Frequently Bought Together
