Tinymce Stripping <P> and other tags

  • Hi,

    I am using the wysiwig editor in wordpress to write. but i press return (enter) but no paragraphs are added. It seems to be stripping the <p> tags on save. I can add html fine, just the wysiwig is the problem

    any ideas?

  • 1. Don’t enter HTML using the Visual Editor. That’s what the HTML tab is for. And don’t swap back & forth between tabs, The results will be unpredictable.

    2. 9 times out of 10, this is a theme issue – not an editor problem.

    I tried another wysiwyg editor and that had no problems. But i didnt like it much so I found that if i selected all, then press the left align button it works everything out. Which is fine for now.
