    Hi,

Thank you so much for providing this plugin, it saves me allot of time!

    Question
We have customers with large content like images and videos, and CDN is a cheaper solution for them. Because of this we would like some sort of option to only work from the CDN so WordPress doesn’t store anymore in it’s uploads folder.

Have seen this before on another plug-in so i do know it’s possible, what they did is sync when uploaded and remove when it’s synced. This way the CDN is the only storage for it’s files and allows customers to upload way more file.

Is this something to consider or do we have to search for a different solution?

    Also small issue
I don’t know why but on activation you put a define with WP_DEBUG true, i don’t think this should be done because it exposures paths and other information.

    File: includes/class-w2cloud-activator.php

    Hello @erikkraijenoord ,

Well, I’m sorry to say that right now you cannot serve the media files only from the cloud storage with our plugin.

However, this feature is already in our backlog, and hopefully we will integrate this feature with our plugin in the future.

I’ll let you know once this feature is added to our plugin.

Also, thank you for pointing us to the issue, we will have a look at this and will take further action.

    We highly appreciate this.

Let me know if you have further queries.

    Thank you.

    Hello Rafi

Thank you for your reply, why is this marked as ‘solved’ when this option isn’t available yet?

Today we ran into another problem, the files aren’t synct automaticly but needs a manual sync on every upload. Is this a normal reaction or do we need to set an option to automaticly sync when upload?

    Hello @erikkraijenoord ,

Yes, there’s an option through which you can set auto-sync for your newly uploaded products.

Go to Media Storage to Cloud >> Settings >> Enable “Upload Media Files On Bucket When Uploaded On Media Library” option.

Have a look at the Settings: https://prnt.sc/1il4lpk

If this option is enabled, when a new file is uploaded in your media library, It will sync automatically to your active storage.

Let me know if you face any issues.

    Thank you.

Still don’t know why you marked this topic as ‘solved’ because the option to only work on CDN isn’t available. But have found a different solution that basicly does what i’ve been looking for.

But i wish you the best with this plugin!
