Unable to create gallery!

  • I hope someone can help.

    I’m building a school alumni site and using MediaPress I get the error ‘Action not authorized!’ when trying to create a gallery.

    Im unable to provide access to a page as I dont really want to supply login details.

    Thanks in advance for any help.

    1. Are you using it with BuddyPress?
    2. Is it happening for sitewide gallery or user profile gallery?

    Yes, the site uses Buddypress and the error happens when trying to create a gallery in ‘My galleries’.

    I have checked and the issue will only happen when MediaPress is unable to verify the nonce.

    do you have any plugin or code that might be affecting the nonces generation(any security related plugins or anything special?)

    Hi Brajesh,

    Apologies for the delay in replying.

    I now have another problem, some of the Mediapress Shortcodes, [mpp-list-gallery] for example produces nothing, just a blank page, there should be 8 test galleries.

    As far as testing the previous issue ‘Action not authorized’, I have deactivated all plugins apart from Mediapress and Buddypress and tried themes 2020 and 2021. The same problem persists.

    To help reformat Buddypress, I have added extensive code in the child theme but as above deactivating this has no effect and only produces the same response.

    I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling Mediapress but all to no avail.

    Could both of these issues be a result of Mediapress not verifying the nonce, if so how can this be rectified?
