I migrated my site from a previous domain to a new one yesterday and everything seemed fine until I realized the Admin Widget area is totally blank. I initially thought it was some plugin issue and I have deactivated almost all the plugin and activated them one after the other but it didn’t solve the problem.

I was forced to reupdate the WordPress version to see if it would fix it but nothing still. What’s worse is that there is no error log in my site’s root folder.

The migration I did was manual and I doubt anything went wrong during the process. Please help here.

Update: So apparently I did not allow debugging initially only to realize it after opening the thread. Now I am getting an error in the admin area when I try to access the Widget are:

Notice: wp_enqueue_script() was called incorrectly. “wp-editor” script should not be enqueued together with the new widgets editor (wp-edit-widgets or wp-customize-widgets). Please see Debugging in WordPress for more information. (This message was added in version 5.8.0.) in /home/xxxxxx/public_html/wp-includes/functions.php on line 5535

Fixed this by installing the Classic WordPress Widget Plugin.
