    Instagram doesn’t work.
Existing galleries give error – “Unknown error”
When adding a gallery from Instagram – “No data returned. Error code 400”

Seems to be working fine for me: https://aquoid.com/plugins/photonic/instagram/.

Is your authentication token still active?

Do we really have to renew the token every 2 months?
    It is very uncomfortable.

When renewed Instagram token, everything works fine. If we can’t automatically renew the token every 2 months, can we have at least some notification regarding token renewal? Thanks

This is a limitation imposed by Facebook. If you are an individual developer and not a business, you can only apply for the Instagram basic display API instead of the full-featured Graph API. And when you do this, the application credentials issued to you force a 60-day expiry. Since I am a hobbyist and don’t run a business, this is a limitation that I have to deal with.

Earlier Facebook used to allow automatic extension of the authentication, but they changed this in early 2021.

At this point I don’t have an automatic notification system, but I can consider building one in.
