WordPress does not send email

It is depends on your hosting serer configuration. It seems that your server requires authentication to send the email. To resolve it, check with these plugins:

You have figured out what my hosting service (who provides WordPress as an application) has spent two weeks trying to figure out!

I can’t thank you enough.

I can now send/receive email from my blog but now the site does not send a new user their registration info (that was the only email function that DID work before). Any suggestions? It does, however, send me a notification email that they’ve registered (it did NOT do that before).
