“Incorrect syntax for mailbox”, due to an accented letter O.

Hello.
I have an e-mail address that contains an accent mark over the letter O ([redacted email address, which contains the accented letter ó in the domain part.]).
When I am setting up a contact form, I receive the error message “Incorrect syntax for mailbox”, due to this accented letter O.
How can I solve that?

Technically, accented characters can not be used in DNS records but I found this that convert your domain from IDN to ACE (encoded as a string of non-accented character)
https://www.netim.com/domain-name/accented-domains.htmlyour url will look like “[redacted]@xn--yourdomain-m8b.[redacted]” after conversion
