    Hi,

WHEN I insert a download-button-block in Gutenberg AND do not select a download (button says “select a download first”) AND save the draft (or publish the page) THEN an error message is shown (translated from german it says something like “Update failed. The response is not a valid JSON response.”

WHEN I then leave the page and try to edit it again, a critical error occurs.

The only way to fix this is to delete the page and rebuild it again.

Does anyone have the same error and has a solution?
    Thanks and best regards!

    Hello @tioata ,

Just tested this out but seems to work OK. Could you please give more info, like what theme you are using, any other plugins installed and active, WordPress version, PHP version? This way we can test it better and come with a solution.

    Kind Regards!

    Hello @tioata ,

Our development team made a fix for this kind of error. It only happens in certain situations and that’s why I did not encounter it, but a fix for it will be deployed in the next update which will come soon. Don’t know exactly a time or a time period, currently the update is in testing stage to ensure everything is OK.

Thank you for being so patient.

    Kind Regards!
