I’m guessing the Classic Editor plugin may have been installed with WordPress at some point, as I do not recall looking for, downloading and installing it myself. And, as my site uses the Divi theme, I’m wondering if I need to have the Classic Editor plugin at all.

Can I safely disable and remove the Classic Editor plugin?

    Thanks.

The Classic Editor plugin allows you to switch between the old (classic) Edit Post screen and the new block editor based Edit Post screen.

If you don’t need or want to use the old screen you can safely remove the Classic Editor plugin. This won’t change how your posts are displayed on the front-end, it will only remove access to the old screen/TinyMCE editor.

Thank you, Andrew. Just clear up one more thing for me, please: my site consists of only pages, no posts. Does that make any difference?
