Manage Slides on my Site

Hi everyone, I’m new to the world of sites managing and so on, I would really appreciate if you give me a hint on how to manage slides.
I want to turn images on the homepage of my site into slides, but also I want to keep it an active button, but kind of animated. I have those pictures in black & white variant and I would like to use it. When a user open the site he or she sees it in black & white, but when point-and-clicks it, it becomes colored.
Any tips how to make it?
