I am going to be taking over a website that uses Tablepress. I see they have created hundreds of tables that won’t be used again. Seems I should delete them. They are small tables, just a couple columns and rows. Anything I should know about deleting so many tables?

    Hi,

thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.

Nothing special about this, I don’t foresee trouble. Of course, you should create a backup first, of the site/database and maybe of the tables, by using the “Export” feature in TablePress.

Note that, in addition to deleting the tables in TablePress, you’ll probably also want to remove the then no-longer needed [table] Shortcodes from the posts/pages where those tables are/were shown.

    Regards,
    Tobias
