Firefox moile bypasses WPPCC & allows downloads

  • I have a Samsung Phone and tablet – Both have FF mobile installed.
    If you hold down on the screen of the phone or tablet while viewing an image FF pops open a box that allows you to 9 different functions – not only save – but: share – copy image location – etc. When you close the box the don’t copy message is there but it is all still bypassed.

    On my website I can download images from the site with no problems using mobile.
    But desktops running FF for PC WPPCC works fine to block downloads.
    Edge on desktops are blocked.
    Not sure on chrome as it is not installed on my desktop.

    This same thing happens on sites using No-Right-Click plugin.

    It appears that FF mobile is able to bypass the protection schemes in both of these plugins.

    This does not seem to be the case with the Samsung Internet app – and IPhones do not seem to be able to download and save.
    Only FF mobile.
    Please advise.

    Yes the plugin is turned on and has been since the site was first designed.
    This forum will not allow me to add a screenshot.
    I get the alert whenever I right click.
    The only combination that bypass the plugin is FireFox when used on a Samsung phone or tablet.

    I’ve made a program that gives an alert and then shutdown the page.

    Firefox mobile gives you a popup window and that will close when the page shuts down.
    I will give you a prototype plugin that I can send you by an e-mail.
