why you guys are adding junk with new updates

  • after upadting to latest elementor version im seeing this junk in my admin area

    why ? what’s the necessities ? its not serving any purpose apart from malicious spam type looking ads

    is this from elementor or elementor pro ? bcos if its from pro then what this [ expletive deleted ] im not paying for this crap

    I couldn’t have written it better than you. I hate plugins putting their unnecessary or ad-like stuff on the dashboard.

    You can get rid of this annoying stuff with Screen Options > remove check mark “Elementor Top Bar”.

    Dear Elementor team, dear @gilt please re-think this new “function”. You are joining many other plugins putting annoying stuff on the dashboard. If really necessary, put it as opt-in into your settings, not let the users opt-out it via “Screen Options”. Now I’ve got to log in to dozens of WordPress installations only to uncheck this. This is annoying.

    @doffine thanks a bunch man you saved me a headache of removing the elementor top bar using a CSS.

    and i can confirm its from elementor plugin itself, not elementor pro.

    this is a [ redacted ] move elementor, respect users choice and don’t add unnecessary stuff without the permission of the user especially in the admin area

    Still nobody replied from official support moreover there no way to remove this from mobile wp-admin area
