    Hi there

Trying to update plugins this morning for a client who uses the Roots Bedrock system and have run in to:

      Problem 1
        - Root composer.json requires wpackagist-plugin/easy-google-fonts ^1.4, it is found wpackagist-plugin/easy-google-fonts[1.4.4] in the lock file and wpackagist-plugin/easy-google-fonts[dev-trunk, 2.0.1] from composer repo (https://wpackagist.org) but these do not match your constraint and are therefore not installable. Make sure you either fix the constraint or avoid updating this package to keep the one from the lock file.

Please can you keep the 1.4.x version available? Not everybody wants to move to version 2.x just yet.

    Thanks
    Jamie

    Hi Jamie,
I have made the old version available. Please note however that this is a one off (because I have released quite a big update). The ideal thing to do is to bump the version number in your composer file.

We do not recommend using 1.4.4 as it will not work with the latest versions of WordPress going forward (and we don’t want to encourage users to not upgrade their WordPress install).

Thanks for reaching out, hope that helps ??

Thanks I appreciate it and I understand, however it seems there are some issues being reported with the 2.x version.

    Hi Jamie,
All of those issues (backwards compatibility) have been resolved now. I recommend upgrading to 2.0.2 and you should be fine
