Volunteer RSVP Form keeps disappearing on plugin update

  • With these latest batch of updates, it seems like every time I update the plugin, the RSVP form on event listings disappear and I have such a difficult time figuring out how to get it back.

    The link shared below at bottom of post is just an example of where the form was showing up below the event information. It may be showing up there by the time it’s looked at if I figure out what’s wrong.

    When I try to go to Edit or Customize the RSVP form as shown here: https://www.screencast.com/t/dKTHj4RGoMh it takes me to the WordPress dashboard because it’s looking for a specific post ID but not actually going to it (I know it exists because I finally found the post ID it was looking for).

    All that said, just want to say thank you for continually updating this plugin and for making it available in the first place — it’s the only one out there that has served all our needs for the website.

    Without updating recently, I have the same issue. So today I updated to the latest version of WP and this plugin, and the problem is the same.
    I was indeed able to find the form via the ‘Special’ filter on the events page and this one seems unchanged. But all the events (from template) have no form anymore and I also can’t select it, because it says it couldn’t find it.
    When visiting wp-admin/post.php?action=edit&post=6794&back=7454 it says “You’re trying to edit something that doesn’t exist. Maybe it’s deleted?” (Translated from Dutch). I came to that URL by clicking on one of the links in screenshot https://www.screencast.com/t/MusufmqjIxI6 from @metaliz.
    I don’t understand why it is broken like this all of a sudden.
    @metaliz you already have an idea/fix that works?
