    Reading through the previously logged support tickets, it would appear that its not possible to convert the thumbnails into webp but is there away to reduce the quality – so the file size is smaller? And can the images be lazyloaded?

    (using the cache images locally feature)

    reducing size: afraid not.

    lazyloading: the images are in fact already “somewhat” lazyloaded (the JS to load the LYTE player kicks in at domContentLoaded, so images do load late(r) already), but in the next release there will be a filter you can enable to use another type of lazyload. still working on some unrelated (technical) improvements, but I *think* this will be out mid-July.
