Import

  • Hi everyone, I have a question for you.
    For several reasons, I no longer use The Evetns Calendar plugin but if I deactivate it, all my events (400) created to date are no longer visible, and as you all know, this is not a good thing for google.
    Is there a way to make events simple articles without having to rewrite them all by hand? Like an import?

    Events are custom post types that are created and handled by The Events Calendar. If you deactivate the plugin you will need some other means to make them visible. There might be plugins that can help you change the post type so that your events show up as blog posts, however, you might lose some data, for example, the event date, or the venue.

    The best might be leaving The Events Calendar active and removing all links that lead to the calendar pages, and deactivate the views under Events > Settings > Display tab.
