Slug Issues please HELP!!

    My Questions:

    1. I have 2 [Directory Types].
    –(i)Classifieds
    –(ii)Sales Flyers
    Why is the first Type(Classifieds) I created has by default slug set to general and can not be edited? Is there any way to edit the slug?

    2.All my categories are placed in URL: [Domain-Name.com/categories/]
    Why after clicking a specific category i.e.(announcements) URL drops categories from itself and becomes: [Domain-Name.com/single-categorie/announcements/]
    instead of being
    [Domain-Name.com/categories/announcements/].

    3. After getting into a specific category when I further click on one specific list i.e.(jack-restaurant) the URL again changes into [Domain-Name.com/directory/general/jack-restaurant/]
    instead of being
    [Domain-Name.com/categories/announcements/jack-restaurant/].

    4. In All my categories page I have 2 [Directory Types]. By default, it opens to my Classifieds but just as I click on Sales Flyers, the URL changes to:
    [Domain-Name.com/categories/?directory_type=sales-flyers]
    instead of
    [Domain-Name.com/categories/sales-flyers]

    5.Similarly inside of Sales Flyers specific category I’m greeting:
    [Domain-Name.com/single-categorie/gides/?directory_type=sales-flyers]
    instead of
    [Domain-Name.com/categories/sales-flyers/gides/]

    Please any idea how to resolve them?

    Thank you for reaching out.

    1. You will be able to edit directory slugs once we release Directorist v7.0.5. This feature is in the beta testing phase at the moment.

    2. The URL will depend on the name you set for the single category page. Please rename the single category page (the page that contains the following shortcode: [directorist_category]). It should resolve the issue.

    3. You will not be able to achieve that without custom development. By default, the single listing page URL would be the following: https://domainName/ListingSlug/ListingName when the following option is disabled: https://prnt.sc/16g0ycd When the option is enabled, the URL will be https://domainName/ListingSlug/DirectorySlug/ListingName

    4. There is no default option to change that at the moment. The URL will change based on the query var when you switch from the default category to Sales Flyers.

    5. As mentioned in point 2, you can change the single category page name according to your preference. However, the query var part of the URL cannot be modified. It will change based on directory type.
