• Sorry for being a numpty but I copied the default folder template and renamed. I then edited some of the files (index, bottom and sidebar) and uploaded but the new (copied) template doesn’t appear in the list to be selected.

I had successfully created a template based on my original 1.2 style so don’t understand what I’m missed here.

    Any help greatly appreciated.

    Adrian

  • You need to go into the new directory and change the name of the theme in the style.css file. Otherwise it doens’t show up in the admin panel. I had the same problem when I downloaded the soft launch version.

    ciao !

    .

Did you change the theme’s name in style.css?

Thanks everyone for helping with this. All I need to do now is work out how to effectively edit existing themes!
