Locked out of site by 2FAS

  • Completely unable to login to my wordpress site. Using latest WP and latest version of the plugin. I get these error message for every account:

    “Cannot add new authentication”

    or sometimes:

    “User has not been found”

    I’ve tried 3 different browsers, and I’ve cleared all cookies from all of them.

    I have access to the WP database through my cPanel – is there some way to disable 2fas plugin by editing database entries?

    Nevermind — found out I can disable by renaming the 2fas-light folder in the wp plugins folder.
