Issue with incoming links widgit in the dashboard

  • Hi,

    The problem i am having is in the dashboard where the incoming links widgit and the plugins widgit are coming up with an error on them

    The are is this

    Please call SimplePie_Cache::create() instead of the constructor

    does anyone know how I fix this?

    I followed the instructions on the link and it got the widgets working again but now i’m getting two different error messages

    Warning: is not writeable in /home/sites/*****/public_html/wp-content/plugins/accessible-news-ticker/includes/simplepie.inc on line 1623

    and

    Fatal error: Call to undefined function: __destruct() in /home/sites/*****/public_html/wp-admin/includes/dashboard.php on line 639

    any advice would be great
